Six Sided Eye Stitch
Uses: Isolated stitch, Grouped together: Backgrounds, Fields
Look at the graph and see a series of dots traveling in an octagon. This is where you will bring your needle out of the canvas. You will go back under in the center where you see a single dot. Work your way around the octagon and when you have reached your beginning, you can either create another tie off. Six Sided Eye can use as an isolated stitch or grouped as a large pattern.
Before you start to stitch, you may wish to create a large hole in the center by using a knitting needle or laying tool. To see tips on how to create lovely eyelets, see How to create clear sharp stitches.
