Alternating Cross Straight Stitch

Uses:  Borders, Samplers

This stitch will show portions of the canvas between the Back stitch.  Although this is a little tricky, follow the numbers and you should have a very pleasing stitch.

Depending upon the desired effect, you may need to thin the thread.
