Cross Plus Two Stitch

Getting Harder

Uses:  Foliage, Fields, Clothing if large area

Start by making the large cross hatch in one direction working from the top of the canvas to the lower portion.  You will now work the other cross hatch.   Again, working on the top portion of the cross, create the long vertical stitch.  Because you are at the bottom part of the cross, it is best to work the horizontal bar at this point.

 

You can either work the next cross below your finished stitch or travel to the next one on the right.  Continue until you have finished the area.
