Cashmere Stitch

Easy

Uses:  For most areas.

Working Horizonally
Working Diagonally

Cashmere is a universal stitch.   Think of the Cashmere unit (in box on graph) as a group of 1 Continental, 2 long stitches over 2 intersections and then another Continental.  By using this train of thought, you can work the stitch either horizontally or vertically.   No matter which way you stitch Cashmere, the end result will be the same.

For variations, you can stitch Cashmere diagonally using 2 or more colors.  You may want to see Arte's which uses all your scrap threads.
