Double Knot Stitch

Uses:  Rocks, Hair, Foliage, Broders, Animals

To start Double Knot:

Step 1.  Make a twisted chain stitch coming out at point 1 and entering at 2. 

Step 2.  Make a loop under the first one you made. 

Step 3.   Place your needle under the layer of the twisted chain.  Please notice the placement of the needle. 

Step 4.   Create a large chain stitch traveling in 3 and back down at 4. 

You can then choose to make another knot or finish off with a small anchor stitch.
