Dutch Stitch

Uses:  Mountains, Fields, Samplers

This stitch gives high texture and keeps the eye moving.

First, stitch the vertical lines.  (1-2)  The horizontal crosses should be stitched last.  (3-4 and then 5-6)  Work your way across the row.  When you are finished, turn around and work to the other side of the canvas.   Be sure to keep all the cross hatches in the same direction.
